Sunfish Foundation (“we,” “us,” or “the Foundation”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
We do not sell your information. We do not run advertising. This site collects very little: essential cookies that remember your privacy choice, and standard server logs. Optional analytics cookies stay switched off unless you turn them on.
If you contact us or sign up for updates, you may provide your name, email address, organization, and whatever you choose to write in a message. We use that information only to respond to you and, where you have asked for updates, to send them. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit — your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time of the request. These logs help keep the site secure and running. They are handled by our hosting provider and retained on their standard schedule.
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We use as few as we reasonably can.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate this site and communicate with you, or where we are required to by law.

You may also ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make any of these requests, please contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor those.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as our work or this site changes. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
